Shandi J. Modi - Founder and CEO

Shandi has more than 18 years experience in the financial markets, as advisor to governments, policy makers, hedge funds and proprietary traders. He founded IDEAglobal as well as IDEAcarbon. Mr Modi was awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the London School of Economics in recognition of his services to the financial industry.

Dr Jagdish Modi, Director.

Jagdish is a founding member of the company, supervising its global operations. He also set up IDEA Research Centre, a platform to work in collaboration with academia. Prior to that he was working at Cambridge University, where he published research papers, books in Parallel Computing, and is an editor of scientific journals. Jagdish received respectively BSc, MSc, and PhD, from Aston, Cambridge, and London Universities. For further information, see Who’s Who, 2001.

Rofina, Business Manager.

Rofina has graduated from ACCA, UK (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in 1995 with a Silver Medal award. A Certified Public Accountant of Singapore (CPA) with about 10 years of experience in Financial accounting & internal auditing. Previously working for The Walt Disney Company Singapore as Senior Accountant. Travelling with the DisneyFest Tour Show in Taiwan, she was responsible for the monthly preparation of financial reports to the Singapore office finance team. Joined IDEAglobal in January 1999 and was responsible for the implementation of Scala Accounting Software. Currently Rofina is the Business Manager in the Business Management Unit handling banking/treasury function, generation of management reports and payroll/HR function.

 

Dora Vardis, Partner, Vice President of Corporate Finance.

Dora joined IDEAglobal after 10 years in portfolio management, working for American Heritage Management and Thieme Associates as executive vice president, and for Deutsche Bank Capital. She has an MBA from Columbia University and has taught finance at Pace University.
